Alison graduated from the University of Connecticut with a B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology. As a Ph.D. student in the Lim lab, she is interested in understanding the role of astrocytes in SCA1 pathogenesis and the mechanisms underlying regional and neuronal vulnerability in neurodegenerative diseases.
